Dr. Lauren Frary

Veterinarian

Dr. Lauren Frary is the newest addition to the Park Animal Hospital family. She was born in Provo, Utah and obtained a bachelor’s degree in biology from Utah Valley University in 2016. She then worked as an optician before following her passion for veterinary medicine and jumping into graduate school. She graduated with her doctorate degree in veterinary medicine from Washington State University in 2022. She loves all aspects of general practice and has a special affinity for ophthalmic conditions, giant breed medicine, and personalized hospice care for our elderly cats and dogs with chronic conditions. Her favorite part of this job is getting to talk with clients and work together as a team to create the best treatment plan possible.
Outside of work Dr. Frary enjoys spending time with her Great Dane/Rottweiler mix Oliver, geocaching, rock hounding, and playing video games with friends and loved ones.
We are so thrilled to have Dr. Frary working with us!

Dr. Jonathan Ogden

Veterinarian

Dr. Jonathan Ogden is a native of Utah County who grew up in Orem. He has always been interested in science and chose the veterinary profession at age 17. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Brigham Young University in 2014 and was accepted into the Washington-Idaho-Montana-Utah Regional Program in Veterinary Medicine the same year. After completing his formal studies, he began his professional career as a mixed animal veterinarian at Sanpete Veterinary Clinic (now Mount Pleasant Animal Hospital) in rural Utah. He has been a full-time veterinarian at Park Animal Hospital since 2019.
Dr. Ogden's primary passions are his faith and his family. His favorite activities are indoor and outdoor adventures with his wife and children. He enjoys precision sports, automotive repair, cycling, reading, video games and music composition. His YouTube channel (The DIY Vet) allows him to combine his professional knowledge with his penchant for video creation.
As a veterinarian, Dr. Ogden enjoys giving pet owners options for the care of their animals, including standard-of-care diagnostic testing for the sake of definitive treatment when possible. While he is not a specialist, his preference of "diagnose before you treat" has helped him find several cases of rare diseases in dogs and cats, including a case of feline hypoadrenocorticism and 4 cases of hyperparathyroidism, all within the last 5 years. Dr. Ogden also loves to teach, whether he is educating a pet owner on their animal's newly found disease or providing mentorship for veterinary students from multiple universities across the country.
